Kajal was first introduced in a Hindi film, ‘Kyun…! Ho Gaya Na, for a small supporting role to main actress Aishwarya Rai. Kajal was given a chance as a leading actress in a Tamil film ‘Bommalattam’ by a famous director Bhrathi raja with co-actors like Nana Patekar and  Arjun. Early life :
